Quoting and reusing our work
LymyVoyage articles take time to research: every figure is checked against its source and footnoted. You're welcome to build on them. This page sets out what you can do without asking, what needs a link, and what needs our permission first.
Free to use, with a link
You don't need to ask before you:
- Quote a sentence or a short passage from an article.
- Cite our figures, comparisons or findings in your own article, report, post or video.
- Summarise, translate or rewrite an article in your own words, in any language.
The one condition: a visible, clickable link to the specific article you used -- not just our name, and not only a link to our homepage. For a summary or translation of a whole article, put the link at the start or end of your piece. Social posts and videos can carry it in the caption or description.
For example:
<a href="https://lymyvoyage.com/articles/…">LymyVoyage: "Article title"</a>Ask first
Please get written permission before you:
- Republish an article, or most of one, word for word.
- Copy one of our comparison tables in full, or reproduce our hero images, carousel slides or other graphics.
- Use the LymyVoyage name or our content in advertising, or in a way that suggests we recommend your clinic, agency or service.
Write to contact@lymyvoyage.com with the article and how you'd like to use it.
Figures we didn't produce
Many of our figures -- clinic prices, official statistics, survey results -- come from other sources, credited in each article's footnotes. Citing us for them is fine; where you can, credit the original source as well. Prices and statistics go out of date: each article shows when it was last reviewed, so please keep that date next to any number you take from it.
If a figure you want to use looks wrong, tell us before you repeat it -- see how corrections work.
